Nerd Care Package v2.0
(if you spot it, ignore the other nerd care package, that was one I made up for someone else a couple of years ago)
Right, well hopefully you like paper tape :D I do, can you tell?

Notes:
- soak the solder pad with water, squeeze it out and wipe off the tip onto it to keep the tip clean as you are soldering
- leaded solder is dangerously bad and evil and smelly and will kill the crows when they lick it
- ...but it's still way better than non-leaded solder. Don't huff the fumes and wash hands after soldering, keep a window open, strategically blow the smoke away from your eyes (safety squints)
- pick which solder tip you prefer, they are pretty standard so if you want to get a different one they are cheap
- if you are feeling brave you can flash different firmware onto the Pinecil
- this is a cheap version of the Engineer solder-sucker I normally use, if it seems weak and you like using solder-suckers then splash out and buy the real Engineer soolder sucker off Amazon
- look for videos on the tubes for how to read Venier gauges on calipers, you will NOT regret learning it ;) You'll never need batteries for your calipers and they are just as precise as cheap digital ones.
- digital multimeters have two modes, 'does it go beep?' and 'what is this value?', short version set it to sideways wifi (trust me) and connect the leads to the first two ports, then when you touch the tips together it will beep, so when you solder something you can now test that the electricity can flow either side of the solder joint. for 'what is this value' youtube with 'learn multimeter'
- ceramic tweezers, you will not care that they are ceramic until you do, then by god... so amazing, heat tolerant, electrically inert, so good
